"Two Qatari Photographers from different backgrounds one being an engineer and the other a military photographer will be recruited to journey through Brazil. Together, with their different backgrounds, the photographers will embark on an expedition from the Favelas of Rio to the Amazon rainforest and document their experiences and tell their stories captured in moments.
In turn two Brazilian photographers will be invited to Qatar to journey across the Arabian Peninsula to experience its history, people, tradition, and culture. They will in turn document their journey through their photographs.
Objectives
Promote Qatari & Brazilian Photographers;
Photography exchange between Qataris and Brazilian photographers;
Document the journey and experiences of Qatari and Brazilians in different countries;
Develop educational photography technique tutorials for online promotions;
Create a documentary of the event to tell a story and to promote intercultural dialogue.
